I'm a student. How can I install Office for free on my personal computer?

Note: These instructions will not work if your device is a Chromebook.

Note: Your license will only be available as long as you have an active email account with APSU. If you are no longer a student and have not graduated, your email account will be deactivated and your Office 365 license will no longer be active.

In any browser, log into OneStop and click the Email button.
Click the apps icon in the upper left hand corner.
Click Office 365.
Click Install Office
Click Office 365 apps.
You will be taken to a download page. Click Close once the download has completed.
The software should automatically begin to install.
When the software has installed, click Close.
Run any of the newly-installed apps. Click Accept and start.
Click Sign in.
Enter your APSU email address and click Next.
Input your APSU username and password and click Sign in.
Uncheck the box beside Allow my organization to manage my device and click No, sign in to this app only. Your copy of Office 365 is now licensed with your APSU account.
