Backing Up Outlook Contacts on a Mac

  1. In Outlook, go to File, then click Export….

  2. Check the Contacts box and uncheck the others. Click Continue.

  3. Choose a location to save your backup and give it a name. Click Save.

  4. Click Finish.

  5. To import your backed up contacts to a new account, go to File, then click Export….

  6. Choose Outlook for Mac archive file (.olm) and click Continue.

  7. Locate your backup and click Import.

  8. Click Finish. You have successfully imported your Contacts and they should appear in the People tab of Outlook.
