Excel allows for a variety of formulas and functions to be used. To access some of the most common, select a blank cell, click on "Home" and then "AutoSum". Once a function is selected, the cells to be affected have a blue box around them. Drag the corners of the box around until the appropriate cells are selected, and then hit Enter.
