First-Time Setup: Registering Your SafeID Hardware Token for MFA

Summary

Register your assigned SafeID hardware token before accessing APSU services protected by multi-factor authentication (MFA). THIS IS A ONE-TIME SETUP.

Body

1. You will need to go to OneStop via a web browser at https://onestop.apsu.edu/ and update your password using the password construct you were provided.

2. Second,  you will need to proceed with setting up your MFA method. This will require you to select Hardware token as the sign-in method.

3. Once you select Hardware token, click Add.

4. You will be prompted to register the hardware token provided. Click Next.

5. Check the back of the device for the serial number, enter it, and Click Next

6. Name the hardware token, then select Next.

7. Supply the random verification code that appears when you tap the button on the device. Select Next.

8. When you see the hardware OATH token is successfully added, select Done.
