SafeID Key (Hardware Token) Issue

Overview

This service provides support for SafeID Hardware OATH Tokens used for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) when accessing APSU systems and services. Request assistance for issues such as invalid token codes, lost or damaged tokens, blank token displays, MFA sign-in failures, or access problems with  OneStop, APSU Email, D2L Brightspace.  Microsoft 365, and other APSU-secured resources. 

Who Can Request It?

Dual Enrollment Teachers and Staff only.

Before Submitting a Request:

Please have the following information available:

  • APSU Username
  • School Name
  • Description of the Issue
  • Any Error Messages Received
  • Token Status (Working, Lost, Damaged, or Blank Screen)

Common Reasons to Request This Service:

  • Token code not accepted
  • Lost or stolen SafeID token
  • Damaged token
  • Blank or unreadable token screen
  • MFA login issues
  • Unable to access AP OneStop, Email, D2L, Teams, or Microsoft 365 services using your SafeID token
