You can hide all windows, revealing only what is on the computer desktop, with one keystroke: hit the Windows key+D in Windows, or press Fn+F11 on Macs. It is great when you want to examine or delete something you have just downloaded to the desktop, for example. Press the keystroke again to return to what you were doing.
