How to install Camtasia and SnagIt through Jamf Self Service

If your Mac was purchased by APSU and is connected to our inventory system JAMF, there is an app available that has the software available for download.

  1. Request access to Camtasia or SnagIt through a ticket at https://govstech.apsu.edu/TDClient/2071/Portal/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=14873.
  2. You will receive and email confirming you have access. Once the email is received proceed to step 2.
  3. Navigate to Finder, then Applications. Double-click Self Service in the list.

  4. Sign in with your APSU username and password.

  5. Available software is listed and can be installed without the need for administrator credentials.

  7. Click on install and wait for the application to finish installing.
