Requests for new Brightspace integrations require review by Distance Education, Information Technology, and other university stakeholders, as appropriate. Reviews evaluate instructional need, security, privacy, accessibility, technical compatibility, licensing, and support requirements.
Please allow 4–6 weeks for review and processing. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval. Requests must include sufficient information to support evaluation and implementation planning.
To begin the review process, requestors should be prepared to provide:
- Name of the product or tool
- Vendor name and contact information
- Purpose and instructional use case
- Departments, programs, or courses that will use the tool
- Estimated number of users
- Documentation describing the LTI integration
- Licensing or purchasing information, if applicable
- VPAT/accessibility documentation and security information
- Desired implementation timeline
