INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING THE PETITION
Suspended students who desire to appeal their period of suspension will need to complete this form and return it to the Office of the Registrar. For decisions by the Student Academic Suspension Appeal Committee to be made prior to registration, the form must be submitted at the specified date listed on the link of the form.
**Late petitions will not be accepted after the Committee has met**
Only one appeal per suspension will be reviewed. Decisions of the committee will be reviewed by the Provost and Vice-President of Academic and Student Affairs only if incorrect procedures were employed. An appeal for removal of suspension must clearly stipulate in detail the facts of extraordinary circumstance and include supportive documentation that warrant a review of the suspension.
“The academic suspension appeal committee will review paperwork for each appeal and render a decision. The decision of the committee is final.”
