Overview (What is it?)
Does your job require you to occasionally make long distance telephone calls? In order to dial long distance from a campus telephone, you need a long distance code. The long distance code allows Network Services to bill each department on the number of long distance calls they make each month and is necessary if you want to make those types of calls in the course of your work.

Any University employee
Cost
There is no cost to request a long distance code, however your department will be billed for the calls you make using the code.
